Angela Takyi is a trainee solicitor at Culbert Ellis, currently building contentious experience in the Litigation team. She supports senior solicitors on commercial and contractual disputes and intellectual property matters while developing her skills in legal research, drafting, negotiation, and case management. Angela is particularly passionate about pursuing a career in media and entertainment law and is drawn to the complex legal challenges posed by emerging technologies.

Prior to joining Culbert Ellis, Angela gained versatile experience across commercial and creative industries. During her studies, she completed intellectual property pro bono clinics and an internship in housing and family law. She subsequently worked at a technology start-up, a leading media company in their licensing and merchandising department, and in private practice as a paralegal. These experiences have shaped her ambition to advise clients navigating the crossroads of innovation and commercial strategy at Culbert Ellis.
